About Christine

Christine Fitzgerald is a federal sentencing expert. As a former United States Probation Officer, she possesses over 21 years experience in the federal court system. Christine's professional journey encompasses roles as a Presentence Report writer, a sentencing guideline specialist, and ultimately as a supervisor for a Presentence Investigative Unit.

Her extensive  institutional knowledge acquired through years of collaboration with judges, attorneys, the Bureau of Prisons, and the court system is instrumental in assisting Federal defense attorneys throughout the sentencing process. This expertise encompasses  plea negotiations, the sentencing phase, and BOP placement and program implementation.

Christine collaborates with the attorneys, clients and their families, to identify pertinent, compelling, and  mitigating factors that the Court can rely on when determining an appropriate sentence. 

Christine has advised on hundreds of cases across the country, including district courts in Florida, New York, Mississippi, Louisiana, Connecticut, West Virginia, Texas, Colorado, and Massachusetts.
