About Christine

Christine Hatten-Fitzgerald is a federal sentencing expert. As a former United States Probation Officer, she has over 21 years experience in the federal court system. She worked as a Presentence Report writer, a sentencing guideline specialist, and ultimately as a supervisor for a Presentence Investigative Unit.

Christine has vast institutional knowledge gained through years of working with judges, attorneys, the Bureau of Prisons, and the court system. This knowledge and experience is employed to assist Federal defense attorneys in all aspects of the sentencing process from plea negotiations, through the sentencing phase including BOP placement and programs.

Christine works directly with the attorneys, clients and their families, to uncover relevant, persuasive, mitigating factors that the Court can rely on when fashioning an appropriate sentence.
